California born and raised, I grew up in L.A. part of a "Hollywood" family. My father, Felix E. Feist, was a writer/director/producer in film and TV. I worked briefly at 20th Century Fox until I realized my story telling skills were better served in a less collaborative career. My first novel, Magician, was published in 1982 and I've since authored or co-authored 33 novels and several shorter fictions since, and and I've been complemented by appearing on several bestseller lists since. Various book have been translated in over two dozen other languages. My next book is out in May 2024. I'm most proud of the fact that none of my books have gone out of print in the English language. I'm the proud father of two terrific young adults and an aficionado of fine single-malt scotch and world-wide whisky.
