About
Chloe Ackerman studied creative writing and psychology at Houghton College, and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University. She lives with her wife in Portland, Oregon, and owns a private practice in rural Oregon. Dr. Ackerman has written fiction and nonfiction for two decades. Her fiction has been published in Mirror Dance and r.kv.r.y, where her story “Flame” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She has edited several literary magazines, including The Lanthorn, Fine Line, and Evolve. She also writes a bi-weekly newsletter called Dog Lover's Guide to Feeling Better.
