About
Paula Prober is a psychotherapist, consultant, blogger, and author in private practice based in Eugene, Oregon, USA. For the past 30+ years her clients have been intellectually and creatively gifted adults and parents of gifted children. Along with counseling in Oregon, she consults internationally with these individuals. Paula has been a teacher of gifted children and presenter at universities, webinars, podcasts, and conferences. She has written articles on giftedness for Psychotherapy Networker, Advanced Development Journal, the Eugene Register-Guard and online for Thrive Global, Rebelle Society, psychotherapy.net, Highly Sensitive Refuge, and Introvert Dear.
She has written three books: Your Rainforest Mind: A Guide to the Well-Being of Gifted Adults and Youth is an in-depth look at giftedness through case studies of her counseling clients.
Journey into Your Rainforest Mind: A Guide for Gifted Adults and Teens, Book Lovers, Overthinkers, Geeks, Sensitives, Brainiacs, Intuitives, Procrastinators, and Perfectionists is a collection of her most popular blog posts from the first four years of the blog.
