Sarah Stern is the author of three poetry books: We Have Been Lucky in the Midst of Misfortune (Kelsay Books), But Today Is Different (Wipf and Stock Publishers), and Another Word For Love (Finishing Line Press). She is a five-time winner of the Bronx Council on the Arts BRIO Poetry Award, a recipient of two Pushcart Prize nominations, and three Poets & Writers' Grants.
Stern is on the faculty of the New York Writers Workshop and the founder of SDGS Solutions, a communications consultancy. She has worked in communications at universities, cultural centers, and think tanks. She graduated from Barnard College and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
