Emily Everett is a writer and editor living in Western Massachusetts. She is managing editor of The Common, a print and online literary magazine publishing stories, essays, poems, and images with a modern sense of place. She reads and edits fiction for the magazine.

Her short fiction appears in The Kenyon Review, Electric Literature, Tin House Online, and Mississippi Review. Her work has been selected for Best Small Fictions 2020, and supported by the Vermont Studio Center. She received her BA in literature and music from Smith College, and her MA in literature from Queen Mary University of London. She also studied at University College London and Birkbeck University of London.
