About

E. Elizabeth Dryden earned her BS from Cornell University, married, and became a full-time mother of two children. She has recently returned to her lifelong passion for writing in order to share her story. Having struggled with severe, recurrent depression and anxiety for more than a decade, she wants others to know how the ECT used to treat her condition and save her life, affected her cognitive function and memory. Her professional writing has been technical, procedural, or educational. In addition to working on her memoir now, she dabbles in poetry and short stories, assisted by her two dogs.
