Kay Doliver
Kay Doliver is a pseudonym used by Darlene Oliver for her writing. Kay is actually her middle name. Born and raised in the mid-western United States, Kay had always dreamed of living in sunny California so moved to the West Coast in the mid 1990's . An Alpha Gamma Sigma member and honor student, the author has an A.A. in Business Administration and Certificates in Human Resource and General Management and Staff Accounting from Golden West University in Huntington Beach, California. That wonderful community college is also where she first discovered her love of writing. She continued on to get her B.A. in Human Resource Management from Bellevue University shortly thereafter.
Kay worked in office administration and worked her way up to management and assisting executives in a wide variety of industries before becoming an entrepreneur. After owning a large service business for several years, she started a work- from- home professional service business in order to be able to spend more time with her children and have more work - life balance.
It was a difficult start, she says, but she was able to build and run her work from home business successfully for over a decade working for hundreds of companies all over the country. She is also the proud single mom of six beautiful children, the youngest of which still resides with her and she calls her "little sidekick". Kay says her "one person business" is the perfect fit for her as she wishes to enjoy time being a mom to her little sidekick and pursuing personal goals.
In 2012, Kay co-published a book, entitled “Real Work at Home Opportunities” to share information she had learned about starting a home based business and working from home. Kay had not had her fill of writing and has been researching and writing a new and improved book since 2012 in hopes to publish when the time was right.
In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, she decided it was the perfect time to publish her new book, "Real Work from Home Jobs and Business Opportunities". She publishes it hoping it will inspire imagination and ingenuity in readers, and that it won't be her last book. Her new release, "Real Work from Home Jobs and Business Opportunities", is set to be released in early 2021.
In addition, Kay started a blog, podcast and social media channels to establish a community of like minded individuals who can learn, grow, share and network together as they work towards career independence. Kay feels that information sharing and networking can be essential to success for many business start ups, and that by providing that service to readers, in addition to the information in the book, that she can make a difference.
Kay has a powerful and creative business mind and uses her positivity and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and reach for their dreams. In her free time, she likes to write, explore, cook, travel, and spend time with her family. She plans to continue writing other books in the future, which may include more on work- from- home opportunities and maybe some other nonfiction, romance novels, and/or children’s books. She hopes and prays that her work inspires innovation and imagination for readers.

Real Work at Home Opportunities
The economic downturn took its toll on both authors’ but these twins used that as an opportunity to start similar home based businesses. Their pursuit of the American dream did not come easy, but the challenges they faced did not deter them. They forged on to build their businesses using a wealth of surprising opportunities they found on the Internet.
Starting with notary public and loan closing services, they had to add more services to be able to reach their income goals. They struggled in the beginning as they were still unemployed and trying to support themselves on what they could produce. The solution they came up with was to start adding services to increase their monthly income. Among those added services were officiating wedding ceremonies, performing site inspections, property preservation, and field representative services, tax preparation and bookkeeping, loss mitigation, and website design to name a few.
By learning new skills, using them wisely, and enduring some difficult birth and growing pains, they were able to accomplish what they set out to do. They share what they have learned in hopes that readers would be able to start earning an income using their hard-earned knowledge and enjoy the freedom and the independence of being self employed.
Of course, readers should do their research, and decide for themselves what opportunities are the right fit. However, there are lots of choices if you want to work from home and they do not all require you to be self employed. This book explores a lot of different types of work and few details on each. Most importantly, the reader will find a list of websites for each opportunity where they can find out more about the companies and apply to begin a career working from home. It has never been easier to get started with a work from home career than now, and the information you need is inside!
