About
R W Goldsmith began writing in the mid-90s when the California wild-west re-enactment troupe he performed with needed a script writer. After a decade and a half of award-winning skits, he tried his hand at writing science fiction, fantasy, and horror and has been at it ever since. He and his wife currently live in Missouri, overlooking The Lake of The Ozarks with their dogs, Jack and Lucy, and their cats, Jonsey and Ripley.

The Serpents of Eden

Other than for his daughter and her ten-year-old son, wilderness artist Clay Middleton prefers rattlesnakes, cacti, and buzzards to people. He prefers them to supernatural beings, too, as he discovers when shape-shifting chimeras abduct his grandson. Aided by a reality-altering artifact and saddled with a gregarious young paranormal investigator, Claypursues the kidnappers across alternate apocalyptic Earths where a mad demigod’s promises of immortality threaten the very existence of Clay’s home world.
