Bill Poorman is a journalist, writer, podcaster, and audio producer.

After an award-winning career in public radio and TV, he spent time in the unpaid economy raising a family and doing volunteer civic work.

He recently (2020) returned from Asia, having lived six years in Singapore. Prior to that, he was a life-long resident of the Great Lakes region of the United States and proud of it.
