I am an artist to the core. I have four university degrees; two undergraduate and two graduate degrees (MBA and MSW). I've been a working artist for the past thirty years. Most of my work is in fine art, but I also write about art. I've just completed my second book "The Architecture of Grace: Painting Dementia - A Son's Reflections on Care, Memory and Meaning. The book integrates diary, fine art, Formal Analysis, and Prose for seventeen works of art completed while serving as a primary caretaker for parents with dementia (nine years, 16 hours a day).
