About
Helmut Kloos was an Associate Professor in the Department of Geographyof Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia,until 1984 and a Research Associate in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco until 2022. He is maintaining his s lifelong interest in Ethiopian health issues, mentoring Ethiopian students and carrying out collaborative research with researchers. He has coauthored 10 books and published nearly 300 articles and book chapters in epidemiology, medical geography, health services, traditional medicine, environmental health, and distasters.
