I’m an elementary school teacher and writer. My interests include addressing issues of diversity and equity in the classroom and school community. I am of South Asian descent and bring my experience into the classroom frequently to open up conversations. I am also the 2022 Lee & Low winner of New Voices Award with a picture book slated for publication. I am currently pursuing my MFA in Children’s Literature at Hollins University.
