I was moved to write the three-book series because of the devastating physical, emotional, and sexual abuse I experienced at the hands of my birth mother from the tender age of two till seven. Some of the physical abuse was facilitated by some of her many sexual partners. As I reached seven-eight years old, the physical abuse stopped, but not the verbal or emotional abuse. My mother introduced me to alcohol at the age of five, although I didn't consistently drink till I was 13, then added drug use a few years later, and the addiction lasted till I was forty-five on November 2, 2007. I endured my narcissistic mother's abuse and constant relocation for most of my childhood and early teenage years, and I found comfort in the unconditional love of my grandmother and Aunt Betty.
Throughout my youth, I developed deep relationships with my cousins, friends, even though I never lived in one place long enough, which burned vivid, beautiful memories into my being... it was a massive contrast to my mothers high-strung, explosive, unpredictable temper, that erupted anytime, anyplace without warning!
I wanted people to learn about my rough and tragic story, how I was able to find found solace in all the wrong places. To show the rawness and innermost thoughts, which would scare the reader, make them cry, and even elicit an occasional laugh or two.
Most importantly, I want to inspire those who love a story about redemption and hope. It shows how I rose above the horrible hand I was dealt with and uses that misery to better humanity—and move forward towards a truly remarkable journey. My story is a hilarious tragedy! I do offer 1-on-1 service for those that need answers to their life.
From my painful past of being severely abused at the hands of his mother, and out of the ashes, I found a way to become a great father, owned three successful business, eventually completed two marathons, numerous half-marathons, and kicked the drug and alcohol habit on November 2, 2007! His story to stop drinking, doing drugs, and forgive himself and others is awe-inspiring!
