CLARISSA McNAIR
I was born and grew up in Mississippi but have set up households in Rome, Paris, Geneva, London, and fishing villages in France, Portugal, Cyprus and Italy. I am a published novelist, memoirist and writer of true crime with a background in radio, television, and film. Right now my show, Basic Black, is broadcast on World Radio Paris. It is vignettes of crime, scandal, and death; I have a lot of fun with this. I also work as a private detective with cases that range from money laundering and stolen art recovery to missing persons, rape and murder. Plenty of stories, loads of inspiration.

KISS THE RISK.
KISS THE RISK is the story of the Imperial Club V.I.P. as you've never heard it before. A lot of sex, boatloads of money, a thousand secrets and a whiff of danger as seductive as perfume. The arrests brought a governor down, a presidential hopeful. It was a red-hot, salacious, international scandal. That was all in the news but there were aftershocks no one could have predicted and a cast of characters in the wings waiting for them. Inspired by the Spitzer scandal and my interviews with the women he found irresistable.
