Rebecca Nelson
Rebecca Nelson is a magazine writer for ELLE, The Washington Post, GQ and other publications. As a senior writer for Cosmopolitan, she was a part of the reporting team that won a 2018 National Magazine Award for a series of stories on how to run for office. Before Cosmo, she was a White House correspondent based in Washington.
She is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she teaches political reporting and writing. She is a co-director of the Princeton University Summer Journalism Program, a 10-day intensive for low-income high school seniors that aims to diversify college and professional newsrooms. She graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
