Red Shuttleworth
Red Shuttleworth, born in San Francisco in 1944, is a three-time Western Writers of America Spur Award-winner for Poetry.
He is the author of three poetry books ("Ghosts and Birthdays," "Johnny Ringo," and "Western Settings") and over a hundred poetry chapbooks, including "Roadside Attractions."
Shuttleworth's poems have appeared in Concho River Review, I-70 Review, Kansas Quarterly, Los Angeles Review, Ontario Review, Southwest Review, True West, Weber: The Contemporary West, and many other journals.
Shuttleworth's plays have been presented widely, including at Foothill Theatre, State University of New York at Fredonia, Sundance Playwrights Lab, Sun Valley Festival of New Western Drama, University of Nebraska at Kearney, and the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival.
