B. Kirk McManus
Kirk McManus, Ph. D., managed Radio Station KEPS, Eagle Pass, Texas, when 21 years old. An Air Force fighter pilot and Public Affairs Officer, he was called to Acive Duty, eight times, individually. He studied at the Dallas Theater Center, under Paul Baker, was asked to teach at the Air Force Academy and to be a professor of Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas. He headed the Texas Educational Media Program, a consortium of universities developing interactive distance-teaching by television. He wrote, "The One-Act Play Contest."

The One-Act Play Contest
A one-act play for high schools that parodies One-Act Play Contests. Students learn the great scenes from Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, MacBeth and West Side Story. The play lasts about half an hour, and has one, simple set.
