Before Air Mail, Alessandra was The New York Times’ chief television critic for 12 years and also served as the newspaper’s bureau chief in Moscow and Rome.
Alessandra grew up in Washington, D.C., and Europe, and studied literature at Harvard University. She speaks French, Italian and Russian.
