Linda K. Harris spent more than 30 years writing and editing for newspapers and won many local and regional prizes at The Philadelphia Inquirer. She began her career at the Wilmington (Del.) News Journal and also served as an editor at the Atlanta Journal Constitution. She has published one nonfiction book, book reviews and short stories in small magazines. While at The Inquirer, she took a year's sabbatical and moved to Madrid, Spain. Earlier this year, she spent seven weeks traveling solo throughout Spain.
