About
Gail Fraser is the author of The Lumby series, which includes The Lumby Lines, Stealing Lumby, Lumby’s Bounty, The Promise of Lumby, Lumby and Lumby on the Air (Penguin Random House ‘04-’10), and Lost in Lumby (Lazygoose Publishing '12). Additionally, she and her husband, artist Art Poulin, collaboratively wrote and illustrated Finding Happiness in Simplicity (Globe Pequot Press, hardcover '12). Gail has once again returned to Lumby and is currently finishing her seventh novel - excepted to be released in 2023. Prior to becoming a novelist, Gail had a successful corporate career, holding senior-executive positions in several Fortune 100 corporations and retired as an Associate Partner from Accenture in 2002. She has a BA from Skidmore College and an MBA from the University of Connecticut, with graduate work done at Harvard University. Art and Gail lived most of their married years in upstate New York, but sadly, Art passed away in 2018. Gail now lives in North Carolina where she writes, runs her corporation Lazy Goose USA and the nonprofit Find Me Art. You can visit Gail at www.lumbybooks.com.
