Born in Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Joanne Brouard has lived in Quebec and Ontario to pursue a career in communications, including community television, public relations, and writing and editing professional magazines. She launched Spa Media Inc. in 2003 to publish Jouvence and Esthemag Pro magazines across Canada.
Suffering from dysphagia for the past 25 years, she recently wrote a narrative cookbook to share her personal experience, tips, and several recipes she has developed and adapted over the years to make them easy to chew and swallow.
