Effect of Headings.
Descriptive words and statements used as headings in this Agreement to summarize the contents of the sections hereof are not to be deemed a part of this Agreement or an interpretation or representation as to the contents of such sections.
This is another typical contract boilerplate. Its effect is to prevent the section titles from having an effect on the meaning and intent expressed by the contractual language. Section titles, as a consequence, are not interpreted as being part of the contract.
