I’m a Marine Corps veteran with a B.A. in English, Creative Writing from Fordham, and currently pursuing a TV Writing MFA at Stony Brook University. I’m the newest mod of the Tumblr blog Writing with Color with 100k followers. I have a background in vets advocacy, and social media and digital marketing. I am a member of Veterans in Media and Entertainment, as well as Mystery Writers of America and the Author's Guild. I am a writers guild foundation-veteran writing project alumna. I write from lived experiences as a queer Latina veteran, with the goal of normalizing nuanced and evocative stories that don’t fetishize minority trauma.
