About

I love connecting patterns in music, stories, and nature. I believe storytelling is the most powerful way to create meaningful change in ourselves and our relationships with other living beings. In my writing I build community, nurture a deep connection with nature, and explore mysteries.

When not teaching Breath Qigong Yoga and Tai Chi, I compose silly songs for my three rescue cats. My stack of books to be read include mysteries, historical fiction, and anything about nature, especially trees.

My short story “Mariachi Mischief” was published in the Tucson Sisters in Crime Trouble in Tucson: A 2023 Left Coast Crime Anthology. I write a regular column on wellness for writers at diymfa.com. Learn more about my writing and wellness practices at ambredawnleffler.com.
