About
A retired LCSW, I have written three is a series of fiction mysteries/suspense/thriller novels starring a social worker in private practice in a suburb of St. Louis.
On 3-19-24, my fourth novel named Prodigal was released by Touchpoint Press.
I hired New York Book Publishers to redo my website, scottlmillerbooks.com, and they will soon be releasing my fifth and sixth novels, Boundless and The Nostradamus Society later this year. They are creating audiobooks for my first three novels, Interrogation, Counterfeit, and The Virtual Suicide Machine. I also hired them to create a screenplay for Prodigal, which they will attempt to find interest from Netflix, Amazon, among others.
I've also finished a seventh novella and am working on an eighth novella, with the intent to have both comprise my next book.

She's convinced her drug-addict son Danny hold the key to her remembering the trauma, but she kicked him out of their home a year ago and he's gone off the grid. She receives a tip he may be living in a homeless encampment and goes there to find no Danny but word that he's lived there twice last summer. Since they have an open-door policy, she chooses to remain and wait for her son. The conservative woman who thinks homeless people are lazy and live off the government teat begins to rethink her opinions by living as a homeless person. Twin tragedies occur that force her to remember her trauma after Danny's return does not help.
