About

I am a long time corporate executive and management consultant, specializing in leadership, organization change and communication. For the last 25 years I have been engaging with and studying a cohort of college educated baby boomer women. My partner and I have used qualitative surveys, focus groups and other communication vehicles to learn about the personal lives, careers, and experiences of the Smith College Class of 1973. We rely on our professional experiences in qualitative market research, organizational systems, and doctoral research using methodologies from sociology, history and journalism to explore the experiences of this group, of which we are members. As a cohort, we are really interesting! Younger women tell us they are curious about our findings because "you've been where we're going."
