I received my PhD in developmental psychology from North Carolina State University in 2023, where I specialized in researching identity development in adults age 18-29 ("emerging adulthood"). I tie psychology into my writing, from thriller short stories to my upcoming novel "Living Through the Epilogue" - a story about navigating trauma in early adulthood. I have been published in magazines such as "ZEAL" and "The Fantastic Other".

I live in North Carolina with my husband where I host trivia every week at my favorite bar and play Pokemon Go on the weekends.
