I retired from teaching English in Canada, England and Germany and teaching curriculum courses at the University of Alberta in 2017. Since I have had the time to concentrate on my writing, I have completed a middle school novel and written a number of songs. I have previously had an artile on writing and learning published in the National Council of Teachers of English publication, Language Arts, and presented a paper on teacher leadership at the Leadership for Learning symposium at the University of Cambridge. I am currently submitting my novel to publishers and working at recording an album of my songs. Once I complete that, I will be looking for ways to share the album.
