Dr Stacey Alexander is an Australian writer, researcher, manager, and consultant, with a background in psychology, family therapy, child protection, disability, and Early Childhood Intervention (ECI). Stacey was lead author of The Key Worker: Resources for Early Childhood Intervention Professionals and the Key Worker Online Course. Stacey’s PhD explored how ECI professionals can improve the attachment security of children with a disability or developmental delay. To share the findings of this research, Stacey published several journal articles and has drafted a book, accepted for publication in the U.S.A. by Paul H. Brookes Publishing Co. Alongside her writing, Stacey runs a supervision and consultancy service, and works part-time as a consultant at Noah's Ark Inc.

The Key Worker book is practical resource, created to help Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) professionals understand how and why to work in the Key Worker model of ECI, often referred to in the U.S.A. as the Primary Service Provider model. The book is the key text of an online training course that has been undertaken by well over 2000 ECI professionals in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada and the U.K..
