About

Nadia Salomon is a #PitMad Success Story and award-winning author of GOODNIGHT GANESHA, a Bank Street Best Book and ALSC DIA Selection. Nadia's non-fiction, picture book biography, A VOICE OF HOPE: THE MYRLIE EVERS WILLIAMS STORY is the first picture book written about activist, Myrlie Evers-Williams. It releases in Fall of 2024; it is the recipient of the 2019 SCBWI WOOP Honor Award for work of outstanding progress. Her third picture book, A RAKHI FOR RAKESH, explores sibling rivalry, forgiveness, and set against the sibling holiday, Raksha Bandhan. It is due out in Summer 2025.

Nadia writes on themes of South Asian and Caribbean culture, STEM, nonfiction, and humor. She is also an award-winning journalist and holds a journalism degree from Emerson College. When not participating in her own goodnight rituals or spinning silly yarns... you'll find her working closely with SCBWI, 12x12 Challenge, Kids Comics Unite, and Storyteller Academy.
