About
Born in the suburbs of Los Angeles, I grew up yearning for something beyond what I knew. I write for middle graders to use their imagination, explore, and solve problems in a bigger world than the one they live in. Fun, excitement, and answers come from within if you really look and believe it to be so.
I am a grandmother of twenty-one and a family historian. And I want to make a difference in the way these next leaders of our world approach problems and use what they know to create solutions rather than just answers from the internet.

Stories of a Swedish Elf, featuring Gus the Tomte
Gus the Swedish elf, a tomte, wants to follow in his famous but absent Grandfather's footsteps but stumbles in every new lesson in his effort to become 'The Greatest Tomte of All Time.' The mission for every tomte is to protect animals and the humans who take care of them...but Gus scares the bejeepers out of them, is chased by kids when he tries to save a cat, illegally uses his Snow Globe Communicator and ends up shipwrecking the very ship his human is on, barely arriving on a deserted island. And then, he is called on to fix yet another mistake requiring him to crossover time and space and meet two sisters, Darcy & Dawn. Oh, Gus!
