I live in Ohio with my significant other and my dog, Snowball. I work full-time as a coding specialist for an Orthopaedic doctor’s office.
I've had many scary medical issues happen in my life, but they have just changed my perspective on life.
Since I was eleven years old, I've dreamt about becoming an author. I wrote short stories on Wattpad. They aren't properly edited, but they are a testimony to how far I've come as a writer. My mother used to take me to writing conventions to talk to other authors and gain guidance from different publishers. I've spent my medical leaving writing book to put it out into the world for people to enjoy. To be able to achieve this childhood goal has really been a blessing.

The Salem Witch trials should've purged sorcerers, mages, and magical beings from the world, but thirteen powerful families came together and created a portal for their kind to an otherworld realm known as Mythic. Mythic is made up of thirteen provincial territories and Havenswood happens to be a village within the Moonstone territory. Havenswood is where Claire Mathews lives. Claire, a charming and rustic young woman, discovers she is an Elemental when she is six, and must learn to secretly harness her abilities of manipulating water.
Elementals are a once-in-a-generation kind of beings and only four can exist per time, all of them attuned to a particular element of the earth. However, Elementals have long been considered threats in Mythic and are constantly hunted by the infamous Onyx Clan. Despite what she is, Claire has to conceal her real identity from everyone including her childhood friend whom she loves, Alexander (Alec) Moonstone, even though he is eventually betrothed to another for political reasons.
When the Onyx Clan comes after her and Killian, the Elemental capable of manipulating fire whom she freed from a brig at the capital. She has no choice, but to use all she has to defend the land she hopes would someday be a haven for the rest of her kind. With the portal waning in strength and the magical aura of Mythic dwindling with it, Claire and Alec must figure out how to start a family with the possibility of danger hovering on the horizon.
