I am one of the sons of the late great Shelley Grafman who was known as the architect of creating one of the oldest and most successful FM rock radio stations in 1967. Our father ran it in its infancy and created a behemoth rock radio station in the '80s. The corporation surprised him and sold it after his 18 years! He is in the Univ of MO/St. Louis Medias hall of fame and in 2018, was inducted posthumously into the MBA, the Missouri Broadcasters Association.
