I've been writing about health, medicine and healthcare for more than 20 years, for audiences around the world. I'm a past co-chair of the UK Guild of Health Writers, a senior associate of the Royal Society of Medicine, and a member of the Society of Authors and National Union of Journalists. My writing for patients has been commended eight times by the British Medical Association. My current area of focus is digital health, which I'm studying as a postgraduate at the University of Denver. I believe that reliable, accessible information is powerful medicine!
