Mel Ladner-I am a father and grandfather, and retired New York City police officer. I spent most of my life in law enforcement. I loved every day patrolling the city of New York in a police car, fighting crime, helping the sick, the disadvantaged and arresting felons. I found a second love in writing. I have written three bestselling books: Human Error, Rookie Cop and Paradise or Hell.
