My Cousin Skinny: A Jersey Girl Legal Mystery
Fifth in the series. A transplanted New Jersey prosecutor takes a job at a family law firm in Los Angeles, then gets sucked into defending criminal cases. This time she's back in NJ for a family wedding, but there's a (pardon the pun) hitch: the bride walks out of the kitchen of the rehearsal dinner covered in blood and carrying a carving knife. And yes, there's a dead guy in the kitchen. The bride is Sandy's cousin, and she wants Sandy to defend her in court. Sandy wants to go back to LA.
