About

Vanessa Kelly is a USA Today, Barnes & Noble, and BookScan bestselling author of historical romance, and contemporary romance (co-written with her husband as VK Sykes), with over thirty works published. She has won multiple awards, including the Maggie Medallion for Best Historical Romance. Her books have been translated into eleven languages and published internationally. In graduate school, Vanessa studied eighteenth-century British women authors and she is known for developing vibrant settings, appealing characters, and witty story lines that captivate readers. Prior to her writing career, she was an English teacher and subsequently a researcher for Canada's largest union. In 2024, Kensington Publishing will release her new historical mystery series set during the Regency period.
