About
In addition to Amoran & Elvener’s Legacy—the first two volumes in her four-book fantasy series The Amoran Chronicles—Debra Koehler has been published in the anthology Vintage Voices and the poetry anthology And the Beats Go On. She has also given presentations on Honoring Your Unique Writer’s Journey, and Paths to Publishing, and is a member of the California Writers Club, the Authors Guild, and the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi).
Debra lives in Northern California with her husband, daughter, and three rescue cats, one of whom bangs on her bedroom door at five every morning demanding to be fed. The early start gives her plenty of time for writing contemporary portal fantasies with epic stakes, cozy vibes, humor and romance.

Elvener's Legacy
Can she rescue her lost soulmate in time to prevent a dimensional meltdown?
Kerrin Scott juggles her everyday existence on Earth with her secret life as Meiri, a Vortex Guardian on a mystical world. She returns to Amoran, where time can be stretched, boats run on thought, and Love is paramount, and throws herself into her new task—finding her Twin Light, Ashi, who went missing during the final chaotic moments to repair the Seventh Vortex.
She discovers a strange, disruptive energy is slowly permeating the Guardian Sanctuary, ramping up emotions for the usually serene residents, some of whom even begin to feel physical desire—unheard of in the Sanctuary’s libido-less society. Even the Ether Lights—sentient balls of luminescence—may not be what they seem.
Then the ground splits open, spewing flames of light high into the air, and it’s clear that a much bigger threat is looming. With time running out, the Foreseers decree that one person holds the key to the bizarre changes that imperil Amoran, and by extension, Earth. No matter the cost, Ashi must be found and brought home . . . now.
With help from the Ether Lights, Meiri races against the clock to save two worlds from a terrible fate—and avoid danger from someone on Amoran she never dreamed would turn against her.
