About
I am the bestselling author of 16 books (and counting!) for middle grade and teen readers. All of my books are fantasy, and many of them involve saving the world through knitting, sewing, or other crafts (griffin taming is also a craft, right?). I have a degree in Humanities/Comparative Literature from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Scandinavian Studies. I try to keep up my German and Norwegian, because I like to use German and Nordic fairy tales and mythology in my books. I've lived in Idaho, Delaware, New Jersey, and now live south of Salt Lake City with my husband, three kids, and elderly dog. I like books, movies, knitting, dark chocolate, and popcorn.
