About
Born and raised in Chicago, as a child Ron Chandler escaped a dysfunctional home life by seeking sanctuary in the pages of books.
A love of reading became a love of writing, and after a colorful life of more than six decades he has many stories to tell.
He has no literary degree from a prestigious university. No National Book Awards or Booker Prizes to boast about. Just stories influenced by life experiences (and a vivid imagination) that he hopes you will enjoy.
He now splits his time between San Francisco and Panama City, Panama, along with his wife Erica and their cats.
"I don't write to become a literary force, or to win awards, or for fame and fortune. I write for the enjoyment of the process. The sheer joy of crafting that chapter, or paragraph, or single line until it's just right and I can sit back and say, 'Damn, that's good,' and hope my readers will agree."

The Last Rockstar
After the loss of his wife in an accident, writer Paul Winston had lost his usual enthusiasm for life. Now, three years later and healed from this tragedy, he is ready to move on when presented with the biggest opportunity of his career—a chance to interview the aging and notoriously elusive rock and roll legend, Ian Taylor.
Upon traveling to Paris and entering Taylor’s world, he learns that there is much more to the man than his public persona, and as the two form a bond over several months, Paul learns as much about himself as he does about the man he is interviewing.
While spending his days listening to Ian's tales of life as rock and roll royalty, Paul meets Ian’s daughter, Lily, and receives an even bigger opportunity—a second chance at love.
Paul and Lily's passion for each other burns white-hot and grows into a love greater than either of them had ever known. But as the interview sessions continue and more and more details emerge, long-kept secrets are revealed that could tear them apart and leave their hearts aching for each other for the rest of their lives.
