About

River Faire is an award-winning nonfiction author and memoirist. Previously a body-centered therapist and soul-based coach, he is also a Paris-trained chef, focused on holistic wellness.

Under his former name (L.R. Heartsong), his writing has won three Nautilus Book Awards ("Better Books for a Better World"); one for Personal Transformation and Self-Help (2019), two for Memoir and Personal Journey (2023 and 2025). River's genre-defying memoir received an IBPA Book Award™ (2024), recognizing excellence in independent publishing. His debut novel is currently circulating to literary agents.
