Harry Vann Phillips is a retired US Army Officer and Federal Civil Servant. After more than forty-one years supporting national interests internationally and federal law enforcement domestically, I have a wide range of experiences which inform my writing efforts. The focus of my writing is the human condition as it lends itself to current socio-cultural issues both here at home and abroad. My writing is not conventional nor is it for the faint of heart. Having been exposed to the ugly under-belly of humanity for so long, I endeavor to bring a realist perspective about in my writing. That said, I also see myself as someone who gives more than they take. For me people are important no matter where in the world they are from or what social status they hold. That said, I hold certain truths to be self-evident and do not suffer fools nor tyrants lightly.
