About
Elle Thornton is the author of two award-winning books: Touch the Dead with the pen name E.S. Thornton, her debut mystery, was awarded a Silver Medal by the Military Writers Society of America, a Florida Writers Association Gold Medal (unpublished mystery) and was FWA’s 2nd Runner-Up Book of the Year; her first published book, The Girl Who Swam to Atlantis (YA), was named by the IAP a YA regional winner (Florida), received a Bronze Medal from the MWSA and a Gold Medal (unpublished) from the FWA. Her poetry has been published in the Connecticut River Review and the Concho River Review. She has worked as a newspaper reporter in Massachusetts, Hawaii and Kansas. She was a television reporter in Hong Kong.
