Lainie Belcastro holds many titles in the arts, but her most treasured title is mom to her daughter Nika. She and her daughter are the co-authors of children's books including the darling, Grrreg the Bear and His Cousin Pierre series, published through their company, We Plant Dreams, LLC.

They are also the creators of the eccentric and endearing trademarked storytellers, Mrs. Terra Cotta Pots & Twig, sharing stories with children of all ages.

Lainie is a published writer and poet in various genres and many of her stories can be found in the inspirational Chicken Soup for the Soul books. One story, I Whispered, "Yes..." published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul book titled, The Advice that Changed My Life, shares her personal journey with domestic violence and reintroduced her to many speaking invites with organizations supporting women. As a survivor, she is humbled to share her experience and voice in bringing light to the darkness of domestic abuse and trafficking.

Well into her 70s, Lainie continues to turn the pages to her "happily ever after!"
