Lauren Gilbert has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in Art History. She has continued her education with classes, work shops and independent study. An avid reader, she is a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and has presented programs at various Jane Austen events. Her two novels, HEYERWOOD A Novel and A RATIONAL ATTACHMENT are available through various sources. She contributed to CASTLES, CUSTOMS, AND KINGS Volumes 1 and 2 (2 collections of non-fiction articles). At present, she is working on a non-fiction book about seven powerful women in Regency England. She lives in Florida, with her husband Ed.
