Peggy Joque Williams, a retired elementary school teacher and freelance writer and editor, is co-author of two mystery novels under the penname M. J. Williams, On the Road to Death’s Door and On the Road to Where the Bells Toll. Her solo debut historical fiction, Courting the Sun: A Novel of Versailles, is due out in May 2024 from Black Rose Writing. Peggy lives with her family in Madison, Wisconsin.
