I've been writing and publishing short stories, essays, and articles for decades. I've written and marketed a novel and nonfiction book, both unpublished. Now, I have a collection of essays and a manuscript of short stories and am pursuing a publisher for each.

My work has appeared the Huffington Post, Antioch Review, Big Muddy, Two Serious Ladies, Hurricane Alice and Sojourners among others. Commentaries have been published in the Chicago Tribune and elsewhere. I review books for Peace Corps Worldwide and was a finalist in Holy Cow! Press’ only fiction-collection contest, 2018. Eleven years as a State of Minnesota writer brought me numerous first-place awards from the National Association of Government Communicators. A former Norcroft writers’ retreat resident, I'm a long time member of the Loft Literary Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
