I am an Army Brat, so have traveled and lived in many places. I am a middle "child" sandwiched between two sisters. I spent 29 years teaching young children in public schools, where I had the honor of connecting with many people of varying cultures and ethnicities. My debut book, Move with a Purpose: The Power of Place, Pain, and Perspective, a memoir of my three coming-of-age years in Frankfurt, Germany, during The Cold War, is coming out in mid-August 20204 through She Writes Press. I am currently working on the second draft of a Rom-Com and am super excited about the change in genre. It has exercised my dialog muscles and kept me laughing as I write.
