About
I am a fiction writer and freelance copyeditor with a copyediting certification from the University of California San Diego. My passion for reading, writing, and exploring thrilling stories about unlikely heroes conquering evil started at a young age. My favorite books span every genre and I like to describe my work as having something for everyone—a sprinkle of suspense, a dash of adventure, and a whole lot of good versus evil.
I grew up running around the red rocks and ravines in the deserts of southern Utah—building forts, fighting battles, and living out the lives of all the characters my friends and me created. An avid lover of all things nature and the outdoors, I attended Texas A&M University where I majored in wildlife biology and natural resource management.
I currently live in Munich, Germany, and maintain a home base in Moab, Utah. When I'm not lost in another dimension creating havoc for my characters and stories or editing other's writing projects, I spend time talking science-fiction and fantasy as a co-host of the Tipsy Nerds Book Club podcast and playing in the great outdoors (usually on the face of a rock).
I am represented professionally by agent Lizz Nagle with the Victress Literary Agency.

Bleak Midwinter: The Darkest Night
The first part of a special double-feature anthology from Quill & Crow Publishing House, Bleak Midwinter: The Darkest Night is a winter horror anthology that encompasses the eerie stillness that can only be found in the dead of winter. Honoring the unsettling atmosphere found in Gothic horror, these ten stories will offer you a different sort of chill down your spine while you're curled up reading by candlelight. One a bit more dreadful.
