Trisha Arlins’s liturgical work has appeared in many publications and anthologies and can be found online on Ritualwell.org, OpenSiddur.org and her blog on her website, www.trishaarlin.com. Her first book, PLACE YOURSELF: WORDS OF PRAYER AND INTENTION, with original artwork by Mike Cockrill and a foreword by Rabbi Jill Hammer, a collection of her best work written from 2009 to 2018, was published in January, 2019 and is available as a black and white paperback and hardbound version with color interior at Dimus Parrhesia Press. She is currently working on her second collection. She received a B.A. in Theater from Antioch College and M.F.A. in Film (Screenwriting) from Columbia University School of the Arts. In 2009/2010, Arlin was an Arts Fellow at the Drisha Institute. Arlin was the Liturgist-In-Residence during the National Havurah Committee’s 2014 Summer Institute and has served as Scholar/Artist-In-Residence live and via zoom at various synagogues around the country where she does readings and teaches her workshop, Writing Personal Prayer. She slo teaches at Ritualwell.org and in private sessions. From 2012 to 2018, she was a part-time rabbinic student at the Academy of Jewish Religion (AJR).
